Glass is an amorphous (non-crystalline) hard material usually ground and transparent, made mostly of silicon and bases joined at high temperature. Glass is a homogeneous amorphous, isotropic, transparent, solid and brittle substance in a metastable state formed by cooling and heating. It usually contains silicon sand, soda, alkali metal oxides and limestone. It is a biologically inactive material. The glass is transparent and transparent for visible light (there is also opaque glass). Normal glass does not transmit light of small wavelengths because it contains impurities

In our area, it is common to install ordinary Fleet glass in PVC and aluminum windows. It can be three to ten millimeters thick. It is a transparent glass, flat surface and standard quality. It is usually used for double glazing, but in recent years there has been a growing demand for PVC joinery with a triple glazing system
